Posted on 05/08/2023

Here at Lindsey Orthodontics, we have seen how Spark Clear Aligners and Invisalign can change lives. Not only can these orthodontic devices help straighten your teeth and build self-confidence, but they can also prevent further oral pain in the future.

Which one is right for you or your teen?

That answer is going to depend on several factors. That is why we encourage you to weigh the pros and cons of each device before coming in for your initial consultation. Let's take a moment to learn about how each device works and what are their pros and cons.

How Spark Clear Aligners Work

Spark Clear Aligners are some of the clearest aligners on the market. They are also extremely comfortable and effective. They might be able to move your teeth faster than other aligners since they are specifically designed for your teeth.

These aligners are removable, so you can brush and floss every day! Also, you can keep them on all day without worrying about them starting to look and feel gross. They are known to help prevent staining on your teeth.

You'll have to wear each set for up to three weeks, at least 22 hours per day, before switching out. Each set will incrementally move your teeth into place, and tooth-colored attachments assist the aligners in shifting teeth.

How Invisalign Works

Invisalign is similar to Spark in that they are clear aligners that shift your teeth into place in incremental steps. Designed by special computer software, Invisalign aligners are made into multiple sets. They need to be worn about 20 hours per day and are removable for eating, brushing, and flossing. The number of sets you need will depend on the severity of your oral issues.
